MIDNIGHT IN PARIS (2011)
Directed by Woody Allen
Starring Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard, Adrien Brody, Tom Hiddleston

While on a trip to Paris with his fiancee's family, a screenwriter finds himself mysteriously going back to the 1920s everyday at midnight.

I'm not gonna lie, one of the reasons I watched this movie is because Tom Hiddleston is in it. I was in that period of my life where I had to watch every movie that my favorite actor has starred in. I haven't heard of this movie before and when I read that it was directed by Woody Allen and it won an Oscar and several awards, I just knew I had to watch it immediately.

Ahh, can I start with how freaking gorgeous the cinematography was? I've never been to Paris or anywhere in France for that matter and literally every scene, especially the opening scene, was so pretty! Like my eyes could not handle how beautiful Paris looked, whether at day or at night. I still cannot get over it until now. Moving on, the cast was perfect as well. Owen Wilson surprisingly did not annoy me with his character this time, since I always seemed to dislike his characters in his other films. Of course, I loved Tom Hiddleston and Alison Pill as Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald. Additional props to Tom because his accent was spot on! And ahh Kathy Bates as Gertrude Stein! I'm running out of words again but she played her part so well! I really cannot say anything bad about the cast. The writing was perfect, I mean it has to be since it's Woody Allen. Everything else that had to do with this movie was also perfect.

I can't recall how many times I've watched this, but it's that good since I never get tired of watching it. Midnight in Paris is such a lovely, romantic, magical film and I recommend everyone to watch it!
