A family of superheroes, forced to fit in among society, live a quiet suburban life until they are forced this time to save the world from an evil villain and his killer robot.
If you knew me well enough, you'd know that this, without a doubt, is my favorite animated movie of all time. I rarely fawn over animated movies but this one is an exception. I'm sorry, Finding Nemo and Toy Story are great and all but I'm gonna have to be the bad guy here and say that The Incredibles is better. I said I'm sorry, okay?!
If you think about it, The Incredibles is actually a pretty deep movie. If you look past all the superpowers, it's basically a story about a father going through a midlife crisis. As he falls into temptations, the mother is then left to take care of the family. Don't you just love it when movies targeted to a younger audience have deep, hidden meanings? It's no wonder why this movie was such a box-office hit! Don't even get me started on how perfect the animation was. Seriously, the people behind this film are amazing. It takes a lot of dedication and effort to create such flawless animation, even the little things, like the characters swallowing their food, were so precise. Really, really amazing.
Am I happy that this movie was made? Absolutely. Am I happy that until now they're still not announcing a sequel? Hell to the no. Come on, Pixar! Why don't you make a 17 year old girl happy and come up with a part two? Pretty please?
