Last Wednesday (September 18) at the Luxembourg Gym of Southville International School and Colleges, the Intro to Theater Arts class of  2nd year Communication students organized its annual musical production and this time, they decided to sing and dance along to the catchy and infectious songs of Grease.

I'm sure everyone is familiar with this musical (or with the movie at least). I don't remember the first time I watched Grease, I was probably too young to remember. But I grew up knowing the lyrics to most of its songs, especially Hopelessly Devoted To You, which is my favorite song out of all of them. Also, I think Grease is the reason why everyone (mostly girls) fell in love with John Travolta. I can't say I'm one of them, but I get where they're going at. I think it's because of the leather jacket. Leather makes everything and everyone look 10x more attractive, for some odd reason.

I have to give props to the cast and crew because they did a really good job! Especially to the cast because God knows how incredibly difficult it is to sing and dance at the same time and they were all pretty awesome. The main actors who played the roles of Danny and Sandy were really good. I think they did wonderfully in portraying their characters. Of course, the supporting actors were great as well. Probably the only thing that they could've worked on was to make the musical a little bit longer. I felt like it was kind of short and I was left hanging with all my enthusiasm and everything. But other than that, it was not bad! Not bad at all. Can't wait to see what next year's musical production will be! (Crossing my fingers and hoping they decide to be a little more daring and adventurous with Les Miserables!!!)
